We have never been more committed to that mission than during this unprecedented time as we prepare to partner with our physicians, partner with our colleagues, and partner with each other as we combat this pandemic. Our expansive network of health care facilities will continue to operate with safety at the forefront. It is our number one priority to protect our healthcare professionals and colleagues so they are able to continue to serve our communities nationwide and provide the highest quality of clinical care. In consideration of CDC Guidelines, as well as local and Federal Government mandates, our facilities will continue to support local communities by relying on physician discretion as the subject matter experts by evaluating the need of emergent procedures and how to proceed treating our patients. We will serve as an extension of local hospitals to provide a safe site of care for these designated procedures while allowing hospitals to focus on those critically ill and impacted by COVID-19. Every precaution is being taken to ensure our facilities remain a safe environment for our physicians and staff while providing quality, affordable care to our patients. Most importantly, Surgery Partners wants to thank all of the healthcare providers serving those suffering from this illness.
